Integrated lunchtime fundraising campaign
In early 2024, I co-developed and led the visual execution and concept of Fuelling Innovation Together, an integrated fundraising campaign supporting WFP’s lifesaving work in South Sudan. With the country facing a growing humanitarian crisis, the goal was to activate internal staff and supporters during lunchtime hours through a direct, action-oriented message: fight hunger through innovation.
I created the campaign concept and visual identity, designing a warm, hopeful graphic language that emphasized collective action and innovation. The name “Fuelling Innovation Together” was designed to resonate with the daily rhythm of our audience, turning a lunch break into a moment of meaningful contribution.
I built and launched the campaign’s marketing email, which featured bold calls to action, accessible design, and responsive formatting. Following email marketing strategies I learnt from my time as the Lead Designer at Frontier, a non-profit fundraising agency.
In parallel, my colleague crafted the social media copy and internal messaging, while I ensured visual consistency across touchpoints. We also partnered with the ShareTheMeal team to route all donations through to a dedicated innovation campaign, and relied on them for data tracking.
Together, as of 2024, we raised an additional US$63,394 in donations through the ShareTheMeal platform. It also brought greater awareness to South Sudan’s crisis and WFP’s innovation-focused response.
