Hi! I'm Carita, a designer, creative director, and brand strategist who believes nonprofits deserve the same level of design excellence and cultural relevance as the world’s biggest brands.

My foundations include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies with a Specialization in Integrated Digital Media from Toronto Metropolitan University, a storytelling background that shaped how I see design as narrative, movement, and meaning.

My work has taken me across the world, collaborating with teams in areas such as civic engagement, healthcare, humanitarian aid, and social innovation.

From leading all digital at the World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator, designing civic engagements in Toronto, developing fundraising appeals globally, or co-creating communications strategies in Indonesia, I bring a human-centered, systems-aware lens to every project.

My strength lies in translating complexity into clarity, crafting visuals that are accessible, vibrant, and strategically sound. Over the last decade, I’ve led creative across humanitarian and civic sectors, building identities that scale across continents and shaping campaigns that connect communities, shift perceptions and unlock support.

With purpose, and for good.

Outside of work, my hobbies include dancing, yoga and visiting the various theme-parks in Germany. 🎢
